The City of Poughkeepsie Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred late Monday night (February 17). A 30-year-old man was shot in the leg around 10:45 p.m. near the intersection of Smith Street and DuBois Avenue. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment, and his injuries are not considered life-threatening.
