A Saugerties man, Dale Constable, aged 56, has been arrested and charged with a felony for allegedly engaging in sexual acts with a child under 11 years old. According to New York State Police, Constable was taken into custody on Sunday (March 30) after they received a report earlier that day. He faces one charge of engaging in a course of sexual conduct with a child, as noted in the state police blotter.
Following his arrest, Constable was arraigned in Centralized Arraignment Part court and subsequently sent to Ulster County Jail, where he is being held on $50,000 bail. The authorities have not provided further details regarding the case at this time.
