The Ulster County Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) Mobile Unit will be visiting Plattekill on Thursday (April 17). According to Acting Ulster County Clerk Taylor Bruck, this visit is part of a new schedule where the mobile unit will serve Plattekill on the third Thursday of every month. The unit will be stationed at the Plattekill Town Hall located at 1915 U.S. Route 44/state Route 55 in Modena.

The DMV Mobile Unit offers a variety of essential services, including driver’s license renewal, learner’s permits, non-driver IDs, vehicle registration, license plate surrender, duplicate title requests, and change of address. These services are designed to provide convenience to residents who may find it challenging to visit the Kingston DMV office.

The mobile unit will be open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Residents are encouraged to take advantage of this service, but should be aware that the schedule may change due to inclement weather. For more information, residents can visit the Ulster County Clerk’s website or contact the Ulster County DMV directly.
