Gas prices in the Mid-Hudson Valley are holding steady, offering some relief to drivers in the area. According to GasBuddy, Dutchess County currently has the highest average price for a gallon of regular fuel at $3.10, closely followed by Columbia County at $3.09. Meanwhile, Ulster and Greene counties report the lowest prices, with Ulster at $2.98 and Greene at $3.00 per gallon.

The state average for New York stands at $3.04, while the national average is slightly higher at $3.10, as noted by AAA. The stability in prices comes after a period of slight fluctuations. For instance, in Ulster County, the average price of gas recently decreased by 0.4 cents to $2.987, according to reports.

Overall, the steady prices in the Hudson Valley reflect a broader trend of minimal changes in gas prices across the state and the nation. Drivers in the region can expect these prices to remain relatively stable in the near future.
