The body of Stanley Christopher Waldron, a 58-year-old resident of Saugerties, was discovered in Plattekill Creek on Sunday (May 11). Emergency responders, including Mount Marion firefighters, retrieved Waldron's body after receiving a call from local residents who spotted him in the water near Park Circle.
New York State Police confirmed that Waldron was pronounced dead at the scene. According to a report by Daily Freeman, there were no signs of foul play, and the cause of death is currently under investigation. Waldron's body was found around 12:15 p.m., as reported by Daily Voice.
Authorities are continuing their investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding Waldron's death. Additional details about his life have not been released.
