Kingston Point Beach in Kingston will open later than expected, now scheduled for Wednesday, June 25. The beach will operate five days a week, from Wednesday through Sunday, only when lifeguards are on duty. The hours will be from 10:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Mayor Steven T. Noble and the Parks and Recreation Department announced the opening date, emphasizing safety and enjoyment for the community.

In addition to the beach, Andretta Pool and the splash pad will open on Saturday, June 28. The pool and splash pad will be available to the public Wednesday through Sunday, with specific times varying each day. Mondays and Tuesdays will be reserved for summer camp swim days, and there will be no entry fee for Kingston residents.

Lynsey Timbrouck, Director of Parks and Recreation, noted the department's efforts in preparing for the swimming season. "We hope everyone safely enjoys our beach, pool, and amenities," she said. The pool and beach schedules are available online at Kingston RecDesk.

The schedules for both the beach and pool are subject to change based on staffing and weather conditions. Updates will be posted on the Andretta Pool and Kingston Point Beach Facebook page.
