Market 32 and Price Chopper have launched a new campaign to support pets in need. From September 15 to October 4, customers can purchase a $10 bag containing five dog or cat food items at any Market 32 or Price Chopper store. According to News10, all donations will be distributed to local animal shelters, benefiting animals awaiting adoption and outreach programs supporting pet owners facing food insecurity.
The initiative marks Market 32's 10th anniversary and aims to make a significant impact on local communities. Pam Cerrone, director of community relations for Market 32 and Price Chopper, emphasized the importance of the campaign, stating, "Pets are family too. Together, we can make sure that every pet gets the care and nourishment they deserve."
The Post Star reports that the pet food drive is part of Market 32 and Price Chopper's ongoing commitment to community nourishment through hunger relief, health and wellness, and family care, including pets. The donated food will help stretch resources for families and ensure pets remain healthy.
