The Columbia Greene Humane Society (CGHS) is hosting its fourth free adoption clinic on Sunday (September 21) in Hudson. The shelter is waiving adoption fees for all pets, including cats, kittens, dogs, and other animals. However, the standard screening process for adoptions will still be required.
CGHS has been actively organizing these clinics over the past few weeks to encourage more adoptions and find loving homes for the animals in their care. The shelter emphasizes the importance of responsible pet ownership and ensures that all potential adopters go through a thorough screening process before taking home a pet.
For those interested in adopting, a visit to the CGHS website, cghs.org, provides a look at the animals currently available for adoption. The humane society is committed to finding homes for over five thousand animals each year, and events like these play a crucial role in their mission.
The shelter also hosts other initiatives, such as the annual Shelter Sweepstakes, which helps fund their programs and services. The community's support through these events allows CGHS to continue its work in animal welfare.
