The Hudson Valley Renegades, the High-A affiliate of the New York Yankees, are preparing for an exciting Opening Week at Heritage Financial Park in Wappingers Falls. The team will kick off a six-game series against the Wilmington Blue Rocks, the High-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals, on Tuesday (April 7). This marks the first of three visits by the Blue Rocks this year.
Fans can look forward to a packed schedule of events throughout the week. Gates will open at 5 p.m., with the first pitch at 6:30 p.m. The Renegades have planned special promotions for each game, including Autism Acceptance Night on Wednesday (April 8) and Siblings Night on Friday (April 10). The week will culminate in Kids Opening Day on Sunday (April 12), featuring a pregame catch on the field and a Rascal's Kids Club Sunday.
Tickets for the homestand start at just $6, and special seating options like the Sohns Appliance Center Landing Fireside Seats are available. This unique experience includes four tickets around a firepit with s'mores delivered during the fifth inning. More information and ticket purchases can be made online at the Renegades' website.
In addition to the themed nights, fans can enjoy various promotions, including free parking for service industry workers on Tuesday and veterans on Wednesday. Each game offers its own unique experience, with giveaways, special deals, and postgame activities like Kids Run the Bases.
For those interested in attending, Heritage Financial Park is conveniently located near Interstate 84 and the Beacon Metro-North train station. The Renegades will play 66 home games from April through September, each featuring different promotional themes. For a complete schedule and more details, visit the schedule page.
